"Lamb to the Slaughter" Mary's Giggling

At the end of “Lamb to the Slaughter” by Roald Dahl, Mary Maloney begins giggling because…
1. She knows that she's the one that killed her husband
2. They were eating the lame that she used to kill him with
3. She knew she was going to get away with it

  1. I think number two is the best one because she is the person who killed her husband, but also they were eating all the evidence.
